The Karmann Ghia was part of the upper segment of Volkswagen, the most luxurious Volkswagen you could buy at the time. Compared to the Beetle, with which Volkswagen honoured its name (the people's car), the Karmann Ghia delivered just the opposite. The Ghia acquired sports lines with lots of luxury for the period, which was not the case for the Volkswagen Beetle. This is why the Karmann Ghia was largely inaccessible to the so-called "people" segment.
The interior carpet set mentioned here is supplied complete, from the pedal lining to the rear trunk department. The visible edges are sewn, at the heating outlet at the front, this set of carpets is equipped with a rubber finish as well as around the slots for the pedals. The cuts around the heating outlets, the hand brake and the gearshift lever still need to be cut.
The complete carpet assembly must be glued with aerosol glue or adhesive spray (see Options tab). First spread out all the pieces and carefully look at how and where each piece should be glued and in what order before starting the gluing.
