The Karmann Ghia, in both coupé and cabriolet versions, is equipped with several small rubber gaskets that guarantee total watertightness and absence of noise.
The rubber mentioned here is on the B-pillar, which is the pillar into which the door lock falls. In the cabriolet version there is only one rubber, directly at the top of the B-pillar, in the coupé version there are two, at the top and bottom of the intermediate rail which rests on the B-pillar.
