Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers, not all manufactured for a particular model, but used universally.
These parts can be identified by their reference number starting with the "N" of the German word Normteile, meaning "standard parts".
But just because they're standard parts doesn't mean they're still readily available today. That's why many parts beginning with the VW letter "N" are included in our range and meet Volkswagen specifications perfectly.
The sheet metal screws listed here have a domed head with a 4.2 x 19 mm Phillips head.
For each VW model, we indicate below what this screw is used for and how many parts are needed in total if you were to replace them all for this application. If the number is marked with an "X", it's because it's different for each model, so you'll need to check the number required.
