Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers, not all manufactured for a particular model, but universally used.
These parts can be identified by their reference number starting with the "N" of the German word Normteile, which means "standard parts".
The 12 mm spring washers listed here are identical to the original washers that were used in the factory at the time, and not to the models that Volkswagen later designated as spare parts and which were therefore never factory-fitted to our classics.
Listed below are the applications for which these spring washers were used, and the number you would need if you were to replace them all for the application mentioned.
