Our Volkswagens are full of screws, bolts, nuts and washers that are not all made for a certain model, but are used universally.
These parts are recognizable by the part number beginning with the “N” of the German word “Normteile”, which means "standard parts".
This may be a standard part, but that doesn't mean it's still readily available today. This is why many parts in our range, whose VW number starts with the “N”, are manufactured specially by or for us.
The hex bolts listed here are identical to the original, i.e. they also have a tensile strength of 10.9, which is important for the applications of these bolts.
Note : Always use Volkswagen specified bolts with the correct tensile strength. Never use bolts of the same size, but with a different tensile strength than the original!
