The seat belt was first used by Ford in cars in 1956, in 1959 Volvo made it a safer version, it was the 3-point belt as we still know it today. We are not really surprised that older car models did not provide for this possibility, but Volkswagen did so early on and as an additional option you could have a seat belt installed.
In the early years, each car manufacturer had its own way of mounting, later this was standardized to a fixed thread size. It wasn't very different with our Volkswagen. Therefore, for older years of construction, which have a belt mounting, you must use these adapters to be able to mount a belt using the standard mounting bolts provided with the new belts.
Supplied in pairs, including belt mounting bolts and spring washers, in case you have belts without mounting bolts.
